Twinside retaining walls can be designed and engineered for high-load applications such as immediately adjacent to and under roads and buildings. The wall system is also available and fully certified for wind areas such as Region D cyclone zones, with increased loading from colourbond fencing immediately above the wall.

Twinside Retaining Walls consistently exceed design specifications. In most cases standard concrete posts are replaced with galvanised steel beams, up to 250UB20, in lengths ranging from 2 metres to 4.5 metres depending on the application. Standard Twinside panels are designed for strength: 45Mpa concrete 60mm thick and reinforced with 6mm steel (galvanised when installed close to the coast) at greater then 20mm cover, exceeding AS 4671 requirements. For some applications double skin walls are installed with the void between the panels filled with 40Mpa concrete, providing addition strength and durability. In all cases where the Twinside retaining wall is 1200mm high or more, a double row of panels is installed at the base, with 30Mpa concrete used between the panels to ensure a solid foundation in the zone of influence.

Post footings are always to structural design engineer requirements which are developed for each application and each application is certified, for both the design and installation if required. Concrete for footings is always 20Mpa or greater.
